Spot On

Today, I was really blessed by the KLOVE playlist on Spotify. Understand that I’ve only been hip to Spotify for about three months, and I just came across the KLOVE playlist yesterday. It’s great!

I spent about two hours earlier today relaxing, while listening to the songs from KLOVE. Let me tell you – the lyrics to the songs really ministered to my spirit. I felt so uplifted afterward; I’m going to make a point to try to listen to this playlist a little bit each day.

Of course, I’ve been aware of KLOVE (the radio station) for many years. However, since I rarely switch on my car radio, I haven’t had much occasion enjoy the songs on KLOVE. Spotify ensures that I have 24/7 access to this music, which is a good thing.

Anyway, I’m not trying to plug KLOVE or Spotify – rather, I thought it would be nice to express gratitude for a lovely and free resource that has proven to be a real blessing to me.

I’ve also had the chance to learn about some new Christian artists and songs (or rather, they are new to me). I started building my own playlist that includes these artists’ music, and look forward to adding more songs to my budding collection.

Anyway, whether you are a Christian or not, I would encourage you to pop over to KLOVE and see how the music speaks to you. I know that I felt better after listening to music – I hope that you will, too!

Here is today’s prayer: Thanks, God, for sharing this great resource with me. I’m grateful to all of the people at KLOVE and Spotify (and the talented artists, as well) who put forth their time and effort to make this wonderful music available to me anytime – and at no cost to me, either.

What a privilege it is to listen to songs that talk about Your goodness, faithfulness, power, and love, which encourage me as I continue to grow in my relationship with You. In Your name I pray, Amen.

  1. Hmmm, hadn’t heard of KLOVE, but I do have Spotify, so will check it out!

And may I take this opportunity to say that I really like your blog! I like the simplicity of the concept – saying thank you to God for something each day – and I like how regular you are with your posting. Also, it’s good that your posts are usually quite short as attention spans in the digital age aren’t great 🙂

Keep it up! Blessings, Steven 🙏✝️❤️
