The Spark

I love this verse from the tenth chapter of Hebrews:

This is basically God’s prescription for successful relationships.

I had a lot more that I planned to say in response to this Scripture, but I really feel like the Lord simply wants me to put the verse out there and leave it be. So that’s what I’m going to do.

Here is my prayer for today: Dear God, thank You for this important reminder. Help me to remember that the Bible is full of important life wisdom and exhortations, rather than mere suggestions.

By the power of Your Holy Spirit, stir me to carefully (and regularly) examine the relationships that You have brought into my life, and reflect upon how I can “spark” them toward greater love and positive actions.

Honestly, I’m not sure how to go about doing this, but I trust that You will show me the way. You have already promised to do this (Psalm 32:8), so I will take You at Your Word. In Your name I pray, Amen.

  1. Thank you sharing your thoughts on Hebrews 10:24, praying that He would show us how we “exhort one another daily.” WordPress is a blessing that allows us to do this.
