Good evening! I hope that you had a grand day.Β My health continues to improve, and I am grateful! God is indeed good. πŸ˜€

Now back to the business at hand – daily gratitude and prayer. Here is a verse that the Lord placed on my heart today (I found this lovely image on the Bible app, by the way):

I know that I’ve posted on the theme of letting your light shine before, but guess what? I’m writing about it again, because that is what is in my spirit. When I reflect on the authority and security that we inherit as followers of Jesus, it is nearly staggering. Accordingly, I soon realized that there was no easy way for me to fully convey what I’m feeling and thinking through words alone, so I decided to try doing so through music.

I hope you’ll indulge me today by taking a moment to enjoy the music. May the music and lyrics be a blessing to you [kindly noting that the music videos are by TobyMac and Citizen Way **, and not by me]. Also, may they remind us how wide, deep, and vast God’s love is for all of His children!

Β [I’m not usually a fan of his, but I like the message of this song]

These two songs have become life anthems for me. Since the Holy Spirit dwells richly within me, the light of Christ can – and should – shine brightly for all the world to see; consequently, through my faith in Jesus, I am spiritually bulletproof.

Dear Lord, thank You for communicating these important truths to me so clearly through music. You know that since I have a musical background, I am often better able to experience and relate with You through music (singing it or simply listening to it), and I’m grateful for the way that Your Holy Spirit is working through these artists to touch the lives and hearts of so many people.

Thanks also for the reminder that each of us is tasked with the responsibility of letting our “lights shine bright, everywhere we go,” as the song says. Since You are for us, we are protected – bulletproof, spiritually – until such a time as You decide to call us home. After all,

In Your name I pray, Amen.

    1. Hi there! Do you mean the passage from Matthew 5:16? I like the one, too. πŸ™‚ You often hear people say, “Let your light shine,” but I wonder how often do they realize that such a statement has its origins in the Bible?

      Have a wonderful evening! πŸ™‚

  1. I’m so glad that your health is improving, Daily! πŸ˜€

No complaints here – I love the theme of light. 😊 However, I can only view videos when I’m at a WiFi hotspot, so I can’t watch the videos at the moment. I’ll check out the ones you’ve posted soon though! πŸ™‚

P.S.: If you don’t mind me trying to be helpful… πŸ˜… I have the free plan, and I can add YouTube videos in my posts, directly from YoutTube. I’m not sure if you mean because of your change to .org? I don’t know if this will work, but I’m going to try something crazy: If this link works… when you click the “Add media” button, there should be a whole bunch of different options, and the second to last one is “insert from YouTube.” If you copy and paste the YouTube link in there, it should show you the video and allow you to insert the video into your post. πŸ™‚

    1. THANK YOU so very much! I had no idea how to do this. All along, I was thinking that I had to pay WordPress more money in order to add media, and all along, I could do it for free! I think I’m going to amend the post and do as you suggest. Blessings to you, my dear friend! πŸ™‚

      1. πŸ˜€ You’re welcome! I’m glad that this was helpful! 😊

I actually stopped using the other way of posting – I couldn’t get it to do what I wanted and my computer would panic for some reason. So I’ve been doing it that way for months, after stumbling upon a post that talked about this panel existing. πŸ™‚

Blessings to you too, dear friend! ❀

      2. Yeah; I think that anxiety is causing most of it. Yesterday I felt pretty good though.

Thanks for the prayers! πŸ™‚ β™₯

(Sorry for the late response; on top of not feeling well, my uncle who is from the Houston area is staying with us for a few days.)

I’m better, thank you! Currently suffering a bit from insomnia, but I was probably asking for it by having a cup of coffee in early evening… I’ve only slept an hour all night, haha. Good opportunity to catch up on blogging though. πŸ˜…

My uncle from around the Houston area is okay. It sounded like his apartment wasn’t badly affected, thankfully. He’s staying with us through the weekend. πŸ™‚

      4. Wow! Sorry you’ve been struggling with it too. Yeah, it is funny how we’re encountering the same things. I suppose on the bright side, that means we can empathize with each other and pray for each other. πŸ™‚

Miriam left a comment on one of my posts to an herbal supplement that’s supposed to help, if you’d like to read it too: πŸ™‚ I have something kind of similar, but if this keeps up, I might see if the one she recommends is sold locally.

πŸ™‚ β™₯ I think he’s going back on Tuesday; they keep postponing the date he needs to be back to work.

      5. πŸ™‚ Oh? I haven’t done much research on Valerian yet.

The health food store I go to sells this brand; I know because I tried the one that helps digestion. I may have to try a box of this. πŸ˜€ Thanks for the recommendation! I wonder how close to the “Sleepytime” tea from Celestial brand is to this tea…?

Yes, definitely continue to pray for and support one another! πŸ™‚ ❀
