Hearts of Gratitude

For those of you in the United States (and beyond) who observed the Thanksgiving Day holiday, I hope you enjoyed a wonderful time! Even if you do not observe this day, my prayer is that we all will carry with us hearts of gratitude to the Lord each and every day. God is faithful!

I enjoyed a wonderful day with my family – a good time was had by all. In fact, we all had such a great time that I pretty much fell asleep as soon as I got home (hence the belated blog post today). By the way, as someone who is newly gluten-free, I was deeply touched that my mother made me gluten-free stuffing and gluten-free apple pie just for me. That’s love, folks!! (although my uncle and stepfather also got into my pie) 😉

Dear Lord, thank You for providing me with a wonderful day of rest, relaxation, good cheer, and great food with my family yesterday. Remind me to maintain this heart of sincere gratitude to You each and every day – not simply once per year! In Your name I pray, Amen.
